We work with innovators to understand the challenges and barriers they face in development, evaluation and adoption of products, and develop solutions to overcome them.

We work with leading NHS organisations to speed up the adoption of innovations that benefit the healthcare ecosystem.

We collaborate with bodies such as NICE and MHRA to reduce adoption barriers and streamline processes.

Working alongside leading experts means that we can support in enhancing and translating scientific knowledge into real-world impact.

Funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR)

Launched on 1 April 2024, the HRCs received over £40 million from the NIHR to support 14 centres with different therapeutic focuses, over 5 years. The HRC Network was subsequently funded to strengthen the HRC offer, providing strategic leadership and support through a federated structure.

The NIHR funds, enables and delivers world-leading health and social care research that improves people’s health and wellbeing and supports economic growth.

We are proud to be part of the NIHR’s extensive infrastructure, working with key stakeholders across the landscape to drive life-changing research that improves the health of our society.
