Prof Wendy Tindale OBE
Network Director
The NIHR Healthtech Research Centre (HRC) Network provides strategic leadership and coordination across the 14 HRCs, drawing on expertise from academia, industry, and partners across the HealthTech landscape.
We do this through:
14 specialist HRCs providing expert support to accelerate HealthTech development and drive adoption across the NHS.
Accessing clinical environments and healthcare professionals to evaluate and refine technology in real-world settings.
Co-developing solutions with patients and the public to ensure technologies address unmet healthcare needs, improve product outcomes, and reduce health inequalities.
Leveraging specialist facilities, clinical expertise and established pathways to build the evidence base for NHS implementation.
